Stacked Laundry Center

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pipe wrench
  • Tape measure
  • Pliers

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, near necessary plumbing and electrical connections on a solid, level floor.
  2. Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all shipping bolts and packaging materials from both washer and dryer units.
  3. Connect Water Supply: Connect hot and cold water supply lines to the washer's water inlet valves. Use only new hoses.
  4. Connect Drain Hose: Route the washer drain hose into a standpipe or laundry tub with a high loop to prevent backflow.
  5. Vent Installation: Install proper venting for the dryer according to local building codes and manufacturer specifications.
  6. Electrical Connection: Connect to properly grounded 120V, 60Hz outlets. Dryer may require 240V outlet. Do not use extension cords.
  7. Stack Unit Assembly: Follow manufacturer instructions to securely stack dryer on top of washer using provided stacking kit.
  8. Level the Unit: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the stacked unit is level from front to back and side to side.
  9. Test Run: Run both washer and dryer through complete cycles to check for leaks and proper operation.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit won't start Power issue, door not closed properly, control lock activated Check power supply, ensure door is latched completely, check control lock setting
