Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Gas leak detection solution
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pipe thread sealant
  • Level

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from flammable materials and with adequate clearance from overhead cabinets.
  2. Gas Connection: Connect to appropriate gas supply line using approved gas connector. Apply pipe thread sealant to all connections.
  3. Check for Leaks: Apply gas leak detection solution to all connections. Bubbles indicate leaks - tighten connections if needed.
  4. Electrical Connection: Connect to properly grounded 120V, 60Hz outlet if model includes electronic ignition or lights.
  5. Level the Stove: Adjust leveling legs to ensure the stove is perfectly level for even cooking.
  6. Install Burner Grates: Place burner grates and caps in their proper positions.
  7. Test Operation: Test all burners for proper ignition and flame characteristics.
