Electric Cooktop Series

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Voltage tester
  • Tape measure
  • Wire strippers

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Prepare Installation Area: Ensure countertop cutout matches dimensions and provides proper clearance from cabinets and walls.
  2. Electrical Connection: Connect to dedicated 240V, 40-50A circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
  3. Position Cooktop: Carefully place cooktop into countertop cutout, ensuring it sits level and flush with counter surface.
  4. Secure Cooktop: Use mounting brackets and screws to secure the cooktop to the countertop from underneath.
  5. Connect Power: Connect electrical wires to terminal block according to wiring diagram (black to L1, red to L2, white to neutral, green to ground).
  6. Final Check: Ensure all connections are tight, no wires are pinched, and cooktop is properly secured.
  7. Test Operation: Turn on power and test each heating element to ensure proper function.
Warning: Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician to ensure safety and maintain warranty coverage.
