Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Adjustable wrench
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Gas line wrench (for gas models)
- 4-inch flexible metal duct
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from combustible materials, on a solid, level floor.
- Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all shipping bolts and packaging materials from the dryer.
- Gas Connection (Gas Models): Connect gas line using approved flexible connector. Check for leaks with soap solution.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to properly grounded 120V outlet for electric models, 240V for gas models.
- Ventilation Setup: Install 4-inch diameter metal venting to outdoors. Avoid sharp bends and long runs.
- Level the Dryer: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the dryer is level from front to back and side to side.
- Test Run: Run the dryer through a complete cycle to check for proper operation and ventilation.
