Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pliers
  • Tape measure
  • 4-inch diameter rigid metal duct

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location near electrical outlet and venting on a solid, level floor with adequate clearance.
  2. Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all shipping bolts and packaging materials from the dryer.
  3. Install Exhaust Vent: Connect 4-inch diameter rigid metal duct to dryer exhaust outlet. Keep duct as straight and short as possible.
  4. Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 240V, 60Hz outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
  5. Gas Connection (Gas Models): Connect gas line using approved flexible connector. Check for leaks with soap solution.
  6. Level the Dryer: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the dryer is level from front to back and side to side.
  7. Test Run: Run the dryer through a complete cycle to check for proper operation and venting.

Troubleshooting
