Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a solid, level floor.

  1. Remove shipping materials: Take off cardboard base, tape, and foam blocks from inside the tub.
  2. Install drain hose: Connect to standpipe or laundry sink; secure with hose clamp.
  3. Connect water supply: Attach hot and cold water inlet hoses to faucets and washer.
  4. Level the washer: Adjust the leveling legs to prevent vibration and noise.
  5. Plug into a grounded 120V, 60Hz outlet.

WARNING! Do not remove the black rubber drain plug from the back of the washer. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.

First-Time Setup

Before first use, run a cleaning cycle.

  1. Ensure washer is properly installed and leveled.
  2. Turn on water supply faucets completely.
  3. Plug in the washer.
  4. Add 1 cup of liquid bleach to the bleach dispenser.
  5. Select the "Clean Washer" cycle (or "Normal" cycle with hot water if no dedicated cycle).
  6. Press START/PAUSE to begin. Allow cycle to complete.

CAUTION! Do not load laundry during the cleaning cycle. Keep lid closed during operation.

Connecting Utilities

Water Supply: Connect hot (left) and cold (right) hoses. Drain: Secure drain hose to standpipe (minimum 39" height) or laundry sink. Power: Use dedicated 120V outlet.

  1. Turn off water faucets before connecting hoses.
  2. Use only new hoses; do not reuse old ones.
  3. Ensure drain hose is not kinked and is secured to prevent slipping.
  4. Plug power cord directly into wall outlet; do not use an extension cord.

Tip: Check for leaks at hose connections after first use.

Using Wash Cycles

Follow these steps for optimal washing.

  1. Load laundry: Do not overload. Mix large and small items.
  2. Add detergent: Pour into main wash compartment of dispenser. Use HE detergent.
  3. Add additives: Bleach to bleach compartment, fabric softener to softener compartment.
  4. Select cycle: Turn knob to desired cycle.
  5. Set options: Press option buttons to adjust soil, spin, temp, etc.
  6. Start: Close lid and press START/PAUSE. Lid locks during operation.
  7. Pause/Stop: Press START/PAUSE once to pause (lid unlocks after a few seconds). Press and hold for 3 seconds to cancel cycle.

WARNING! Do not force lid open during operation. Wait for lid lock to release after pausing.

Special Features

Deep Water Wash: Provides more water for heavily soiled loads or bulky items. Extra Rinse: Adds a rinse for sensitive skin or detergent residue. Delay Wash: Sets a start time up to 12 hours later. Clean Washer Cycle: Runs a maintenance cycle to clean the tub (use monthly).

Care & Cleaning
