Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a level floor near water supply and drain.

  1. Remove shipping materials: Remove transit bolts and packing from inside the tub.
  2. Level the washer: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the washer is stable and does not rock.
  3. Connect water supply: Attach hot and cold water inlet hoses to faucets and washer.
  4. Connect drain hose: Place drain hose into a standpipe or laundry tub.
  5. Plug into electrical outlet: Use a grounded 120V, 60Hz outlet.

WARNING! Do not remove the grounding prong from the power cord plug. Ensure water connections are tight to prevent leaks.

First-Time Setup

Before first use, run a Clean Washer cycle.

  1. Ensure washer is properly installed and leveled.
  2. Add a washing machine cleaner or 1 cup of bleach to the empty tub.
  3. Select the Clean Washer cycle and press Start.
  4. After cycle completes, the washer is ready for normal use.

CAUTION! Do not use the washer without removing all shipping materials. Ensure the lid is closed during operation.

Connecting Water Supply

Hot and cold water required. Use provided hoses or new ¾” threaded hoses.

  1. Turn off water faucets.
  2. Connect hoses to faucets (red to hot, blue to cold).
  3. Connect other ends to corresponding inlet valves on back of washer.
  4. Turn on water faucets and check for leaks.

Tip: Run water through hoses into a bucket before connecting to washer to flush out debris.

Operating the Washer

Follow these steps for each load.

  1. Add laundry: Open lid and load clothes evenly around agitator. Do not overload.
  2. Add detergent: Pour HE detergent into detergent dispenser. Use only HE detergent.
  3. Add bleach/fabric softener: Use appropriate dispensers if available.
  4. Select cycle: Turn knob to desired cycle.
  5. Select options: Choose temperature, soil level, and any additional options.
  6. Start cycle: Close lid and press Start/Pause button.
  7. End of cycle: Remove clothes promptly to reduce wrinkling.

WARNING! Do not add laundry after cycle has started. Keep lid closed during operation.
